     I have been wearing my scarlet letter for many years now. I’ll never forget the day I first bore it in front of the towns people. I do wish you could have stood by  my side with our daughter that terrible day, though I understand why you could not. Much time has passed since then. Our little Pearl has grown to be a beautiful young lady though entirely wild. I wonder if ever there would be a day when we could be a family again. I wonder if you still have love for me at all after all this time. I would like for you to meet me in the forest sometime soon so we can talk privately. I would greatly appreciate it.
